The following terminology applies to this Return Policy: “Client”, “You” and “Your” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”,”Us” and “Risch Ink (Pty) Ltd trading as Made by Risch”, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. “Website” and “Online Store” can be used interchangeably throughout this document and hold the same meaning within the scope of this document. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing South African Law. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
The Returns Policy as stipulated below, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
1. Quality Assurance
Every effort is made to ensure that all our products are made to the highest quality standards. Quality checks to monitor and track our production from raw material to finished goods are performed regularly, using spot checks and other methods of inspection. All our products are made by hand. This means that although all our products conform to our Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance checks, the fragrance and colouring of the products may be different from batch to batch. The inherent quality and performance of the products are not compromised by these slight differences in the aesthetics of the products.
2. Skin compatibility
Every person’s skin is different and unique. Not all products will work for everybody, which is why there are so many skin products to choose from. Unfortunately, this means that not all products manufactured by Made by Risch will be suitable to everybody’s skin. Results from the use of our products may also be different from one person’s experience to the next.
3. Sensitivity to Ingredients
Depending on your skin, the skin type, condition of your skin, underlying illnesses, exposure of the skin to various irritants, and a lot of other factors, some people become sensitive to certain ingredients. A lot of the time people are aware of their allergy or sensitivity and can refrain from using or consuming any products that contain the specific irritant, but sometimes this is not known to the person. The full list of ingredients in all our products are available on the website. If you are aware of any allergy or sensitivity to specific ingredients, ensure that you have checked on the ingredients list of the product that it does not contain a product or ingredient that you are allergic or sensitive to.
4. Instructions for use & Best Before
All our products are labelled with instructions for use, and it is also available on the website. You are urged to use the products only as instructed on the product label. Although the products are not marked with a Best Before date, all our products also have a specified time frame within which the product need to be used. We refrain from using preservatives, and because our products are mostly natural, it is possible that the products may change in consistency, performance, fragrance and quality over time.
5. The Policy
We are happy to replace a product with the same or any other product(s), to same or lesser value of your choosing, if the following conditions are met:
a) If the product(s) itself is found to be of inferior quality AND
b) If the product(s) was used according to the instructions for use AND
c) If the product(s) was used within the specified timeframe OR
d) If the product(s) was damaged during transit
We will not replace any product or refund any purchase in any of the following instances:
a) If there is an incompatibility between the product and your skin
b) If you are allergic or sensitive to any of the products
c) If your request is based on variance in fragrance or colouring
d) If the product was purchased more than 2 (two) months prior
6. The Returns Procedure
Should you not be happy with a product, and you fall within the scope of returns as set out in 7. The Policy, the following procedure are to be followed:
i) The product(s) that you are not satisfied with, must be returned to us for inspection, at your own cost:

ii) A letter containing this specific information, must be included:
a) your personal details: name, surname, contact numbers, physical address, email address
a) date of purchase (proof is preferable)
b) indicate if product(s) was purchased through the website, or through an agent (in the case of an agent, the agent’s name must be provided)
c) detailed complaint about the reason for return
d) if the complaint relates to damages in transit, photos with date and time stamps need to provided
iii) Once we have received the product and information, a thorough investigation into the matter will be performed.
iv) When a conclusion has been reached, you will be informed via email about the outcome of the investigation, and the decision that has been reached.
v) The decision is final, and no further correspondence regarding the matter will be entertained.
vi) If the decision was in your favour, you will be requested to choose your replacement product(s). This will be sent to you, at no extra charge, via courier within 7 (seven) days after receipt of your email containing the chosen replacement product(s).
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
You assume all responsibility and risk with respect to your use of our products, which is provided “as is” without warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied.
The use of our products is at your sole risk. We will not be liable for any damages of any kind related to the use of our products. In no event will we, or our affiliates, our or their respective suppliers or service providers, or any of our or their respective directors, officers, agents, contractors, suppliers or employees be liable to you for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, losses or causes of action, or lost revenue, lost profits, lost business or sales, or any other type of damage, whether based in contract or tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of, or the inability to use, or the performance of, our products or ingredients, even if we are advised of the possibility of such damages.
