About the products

No, we do not use SLS or SLES in any of our products.

Although it has been established that the volume of SLS/SLES in products are too little to really do any harm, we choose not to use it, as it really can aggravate existing skin conditions. 

It also dries out the skin more than purer, natural ingredients.

Everything we make is our own recipes, and we make it ourselves. 

Yes. Technically, glycerin and mineral oil does not qualify as “natural”. However, we use it because it is also the purest moisturizing ingredients you will find. It is non-comedogenic, non-irritant, occlusive, highly refined, chemically stable and lightweight.

Just for interest sake, did you know the honey you buy in store is also classified as “unnatural”? 

That is because it is irradiated.

The concept of natural and unnatural is highly misconstrued and misrepresented today. 

Our Belly Paste is really concentrated and rich, so you only need a small amount at a time. 

If you use it for your whole body, everyday, it should last a whole month, if not longer. 

If you use it only for certain areas, it could last you between 3 – 6 months, if not longer.

Yes. 

Legally we are required to have a best before date. That is when the product is at its freshest and best. 

With time, the efficacy of the products may decline, but it still shouldn’t harm your skin in any way.

However, should the product start to harm your skin after 6 months, you cannot claim any refund or replacement, or take any kind of legal action due to harm. 

This is applicable to all our products.

About Shipping

Yes, if your order value is R750 or more, shipping is free.

You are eligible for free shipping if your total order amount, before coupons, after discounts, is R750 or more.

No, at the moment we only ship domestically, in South Africa.

No, we ship to anywhere in SA.

We charge a flat shipping rate of R90, irrespective of where you are, for orders less than R750 in value.

For any orders more than R750 in value, shipping is free.

However, should you wish to buy in bulk, please talk to us.

We deliver within 7-14 days of payment received.

We do not keep high levels of stock, as we make most of our products to order.

Although every effort is made to ensure that you receive your order intact, it may happen that it can be damaged in transit.

Should this happen, please take photos of the package immediately upon receipt, and contact us directly via email: info@madebyrisch.co.za.
